Gallbladder, an ally or enemy in our own body's toxins war?

Missed last week’s article? Click HERE to read about Phase I and Phase II liver detoxification. 🤓

This week we're talking about gallbladder. An ally or enemy when we're trying to get rid of toxins??? Definitely an ally! The gallbladder plays a role in how efficiently we can get rid of toxins!!! But how?! 🤔🤯

Before the body can safely get rid of toxins after the Phase II detoxification process (remember we talked about this last week), there needs to be an adequate amount of bile production to bind up the toxins and safely carry them out in the stool (another reason we need to be having daily bowel movements 🤓💩).

If someone has had their gallbladder removed, this can become a serious problem, so they may need some additional support through supplementation of bile salts or ox bile to aid in this process. Something to keep in mind!

Either way, the gallbladder is helping us efficiently removing toxins.
