The thyroid is the master of our metabolism and has an effect on almost every cell in the body. 🤯 Sounds important? YES IT IS! We need the thyroid to be functioning properly for optimal digestion, healthy sex hormones, and lots of energy.

The inactive form of thyroid hormone - Free T4 for those who want to know - is converted into the active form of thyroid hormone - Free T3 - primarily in the gut and liver.  So as you can see, many of the processes in the body are connected!  That’s why we should be supporting all of them with the food we eat.

Some of the most vital nutrients for the thyroid are:
